SAP MM Consultant
SAP & Enterprise Systems
Malaysia
Materials management on S/4HANA, the procurement and inventory side of the system. The work is implementation and migration rather than support: fit gap analysis, configuration, test scripts, and the SIT and UAT cycles that follow them. Open to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents, on a thirty day notice period.
What the role involves
- Run fit gap analysis against the standard process and record every place the business genuinely needs something else.
- Configure the module, and write the test scripts that prove the configuration does what was agreed.
- Carry the module through SIT and UAT, including the defects those cycles turn up rather than only the ones expected.
- Plan and run data migration, and coordinate the local cleansing it depends on, which is usually the part that slips.
- Lead client workshops and keep stakeholders in several countries working to the same decisions.
What we look for
- S/4HANA, which is mandatory rather than preferred.
- A minimum of two to three implementation projects.
- Fit gap analysis, configuration and the authoring of test scripts.
- The SIT and UAT process.
- Data migration.
- Three to six years of experience: at least one or two end to end data migration projects.
- Six to nine years: a solid grounding, with three to five projects completed.
- Nine to twelve years: expert in DTM and ETL, with five or more projects behind you.
- Beyond SAP itself, exposure to FICO, MM and SD, and to EBX, counts for a great deal.
- The engagement skills to lead workshops, coordinate local data cleansing and hold stakeholders in several countries to one set of decisions.
- Spoken Malay is useful and is not required.
- Open to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents. Notice period thirty days.
